The "OEMKINVEST Ltd" is contemporary with the Russian stock market and dates back to 1995. Over these years the "OEMKINVEST Ltd" has gained reputation of a reliable partner and a steadily developing company.
Over the last eight years the company has been listed among the 50 best Russian securities market participants being awarded the winner's diplomas in various nominations. By results of 2010 the "OEMKINVEST Ltd" was recognized the Laureate of the "2010 Elite of the Securities Market Awards" in nomination "Company of the South of Russia" and we were presented the main prize of this contest – NAUFOR statuette. We believe, it is the honour and convincing recognition of the company’s operation for us, as, indeed, the task was to select the best company out of 20 regions. According information of the "National rating agency" according the 4th quarter results of 2010 as compared to the same of the 4th quarter of 2009 the "OEMKINVEST Ltd" raised from the 42nd place to the 28th place as per total turnovers.
Summing up the results of the Company’s operation it may be stated that the Company has successfully overcome all consequences of recessionary developments of preceding years by strengthening reputation of dynamically developing regional company. Balance-sheet total at 2010 year end increased twofold and came up to 1,5 milliard rubles. Total volume of securities transactions increased in 2010 as compared to 2009 by 19% and came up to 75,7 milliard rubles while volume of transactions made at MICEX grew up by 53% in 2010 as compared to the last year and came up to 9,8 milliard rubles.
We are delighted that our initial Clients that came already in 1999 when we had only obtained the license to engage in trust securities management stayed with us after the crisis and hundreds of new came into view. A good indicator of ours' and market's trustworthiness is volume of money funds placed in our management by the Clients. In 2010 this indicator came up to 16,6 milliard rubles. We are proud of our Clients who we are linked to by productive mutual cooperation and set a high value on any one of them.
Apart from traditional business for an investment company, such as broker or depository activities and trust securities management the company's directorship took a decision to develop such company profile as appraisal activity and provision of consulting including legal services and business planning. Development in these areas has already been showing its pay-offs. Profits gained on these activities are growing and have come up to 5,6 million rubles over the 2010.
Securities market condition, its elevations and depressions offer new challenges to us today. I positively know that we are capable of meeting these challenges. Because, as shown by history, the crisis indeed is nothing more than formation of prerequisites for a new stage in development.
